About

Hi, I’m Lamorna.

I’m a qualified sound practitioner and meditation teacher.

I first found sound healing and meditation through my own experiences with mental health and a desire to understand myself and my mind better. Over the years, it became something I returned to again and again - not as a way of escaping life, but as a way of meeting it differently.

The impact these practices have had on my own life is a huge part of why I now share them with others.

We live in a world that asks an enormous amount of us. We’re constantly stimulated and consuming information, while many of us are living with high levels of stress, anxiety and overwhelm. Somewhere along the way, I think many of us have forgotten how to properly stop and rest.

I believe sound and meditation have an incredibly valuable place within modern life. Whether we come to them through science, spirituality, curiosity or simply a desire to feel better, these practices can support our relationship with stress, anxiety, emotional wellbeing and even our experience of chronic pain.

For me, it isn't about trying to exist in a permanent state of calm. It’s about building a greater capacity for life - being more present for the moments we’re actually living, better able to navigate the difficult ones, and creating enough space to notice and enjoy the good ones too.

Alongside many years of my own meditation practice, I have trained in somatic meditation and sound healing and continued my studies across sound, meditation and the nervous system. I have years of experience facilitating sound and meditation sessions for individuals, public groups, workplaces, retreats and festivals.

My approach is warm and grounded. You don’t have to be good at meditation, know how to switch your mind off, or even be particularly into this sort of thing.

You can just come as you are and see where it takes you.
